Custom Teak Dining Tables, Factory-Direct from Indonesia
Built to your length, finish, and base in our Central Java workshop, then shipped to villa, hotel, and restaurant projects. No reseller markup, no fixed catalogue.
Solid Teak Furniture manufactures custom teak dining tables at its factory in Solo, Central Java, Indonesia. Each table is built from kiln-dried solid teak in any length, with indoor and outdoor finishes, and ships factory-direct to villa, hotel, and restaurant projects across 20+ countries. The company has crafted teak furniture since 1997.
Why most teak dining tables let a project down
A dining table anchors a room. For a villa or a restaurant fit-out, it also has to survive humidity, daily use, and shipping. Most teak dining tables on the market fall short in ways that only show up after delivery.
Tops that crack and cup
Teak that was not kiln-dried keeps moving after it leaves the workshop. In a tropical villa or an air-conditioned restaurant, a poorly dried top splits along the glue lines within a season.
Thin, flimsy tops
Many tables use 25mm tops to cut cost and weight. They flex under place settings and feel hollow. A dining table is a working surface, not a veneer.
Fixed sizes only
Retailers and large exporters sell set dimensions. If your dining room needs a 2.6m table for ten, you either compromise the layout or pay for a one-off that takes months.
Container-only minimums
Most Indonesian factories will not talk to you unless you are filling a 40-foot container. A villa owner who needs four tables has nowhere to go except a marked-up Bali showroom.
Solid Teak Furniture was built to solve all four.
Teak dining tables we build
Six ranges to start from, plus anything you can sketch. Every table is solid teak, never veneer, and every one is re-sizable to your room.
FOIT 300, Industrial Range
Recycled solid teak tops, 40mm thick, on powder-coated iron legs in A-frame, butterfly, cross, conic, or U profile. The workhorse for restaurants and modern villa dining. Stock lengths 170 to 300 cm; any custom length on request.
FONT 021, Classic Range
Natural solid teak straight tops, 30 to 35mm, on solid teak legs. Pairs with a matching teak bench and sideboard. The warm, traditional look for villa and hotel interiors. Sizes from 90×90 up to 250×100 cm.
Round Teak Tables
Round-top recycled teak dining tables on black star-frame bases, including the 130cm round. Built for intimate dining rooms, hotel suites, and cafe settings.
Live-Edge Slab Tables
Single-slab live-edge tops on cast iron H-trestle, pedestal-block, and star bases. One-of-one tops with the natural edge intact. Built for projects that want one table no one else has.
BanquetBanquet & Long Tables
Live-edge slabs 3m to 4m and beyond. For restaurant rows, hotel private dining, board rooms, and event interiors that need real presence.
CustomFully Custom Builds
Any length, any width, any base. Bespoke leg designs, dual-finish tops, matching seating. Send a sketch or a reference photo. We build the table your room needs.
What size teak dining table do you need?
The fastest question a B2B buyer asks: how big for how many people? Use this as a starting point, then we adjust to your room.
| Table length | Seats comfortably | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 150 cm | 4 | Cafe tables, villa breakfast nooks |
| 170 to 200 cm | 6 | Standard villa dining, boutique restaurants |
| 220 to 250 cm | 8 | Larger villa dining rooms, restaurant rows |
| 270 to 300 cm | 10 | Hotel alcoves, private dining rooms |
| 320 cm and up | 12 and up | Banquet seating, custom build |
Allow roughly 60 cm of table width per seated guest, plus clearance at each end. For a walk-around of 90 cm or more, add it to the room dimension, not the table. Send us the room size and seat count, and we will recommend an exact length.
A teak dining table of 220 to 250 cm in length seats eight people comfortably, allowing about 60 cm of width per place setting plus end clearance. Solid Teak Furniture builds this size in both its FOIT 300 industrial and FONT 021 classic ranges, and can adjust the exact length to your room.
How our teak dining tables are built
B2B buyers want specifics, not adjectives. Here is what is under the finish.
-
Material
100% solid teak wood, kiln-dried to under 10% moisture content before a single board is cut. This is the single most important step against cracking and cupping. Tops are solid teak throughout, never veneer over board.
-
Tabletop thickness
30mm, 35mm, or 40mm depending on range and design. The FOIT 300 industrial tops are a full 40mm. Thicker tops on request for custom builds.
-
Joinery
Traditional joinery, mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, and dowel, selected to suit each design. Frames are pinned and glued for a table that does not loosen with daily use.
-
Base and legs
Solid teak legs on the classic range. The industrial range uses powder-coated iron in A-frame, butterfly, cross (7×7 or 9×9), conic, U, or single-support profiles. Custom bases on request.
-
Finish
Five signature hand-applied finishes (see below). Indoor or outdoor specification.
-
Assembly
Tables ship assembled or with bolt-on legs depending on size and destination. No flat-pack particleboard.
The five finishes
Grades are a promise you cannot check. A finish is one you can see.
Much of this market sells the same product twice under different grade letters, and a buyer overseas has no way to verify which one was used. We refuse that game. Every Solid Teak Furniture piece is built from one solid teak standard, and what changes is the finish. Here are all five, on the actual workshop boards, and on real pieces wearing them.

Reclaimed wood
A different wood
Left to right: the two palest finishes, then the two that carry depth, and last the wood that arrived with its character already in it.
Four of the five are finishes on one wood. The fifth is a different wood, and we say so.
Natural
No colouring at all. A clean, smooth surface in teak’s own light sandy blonde. The most minimal of the five, chosen where the architecture already carries the character.
None. Nothing is put on the wood to change its tone.
Bright modern interiors, Scandinavian rooms, pieces that should whisper.
Because nothing is added to even the boards out, Natural shows a board’s own light to dark patching more openly than the other four. If you want uniformity across a large run, say so early.

This is the one photograph of a finished piece in Natural we can put our name to. Two more Natural pieces are photographed, an armoire and a bookshelf, and both are held back until we reshoot them away from the brick wall.
We would rather show you one honest picture than pad this out with pieces whose finish we have not confirmed.
White Wash
White pigment, lightly sanded back so the grain reads through. Coastal and calm without pretending to be anything but wood.
Yes. White pigment, then sanded back. One of only two finishes in the range that use colour.
Beach houses, bathrooms, bright bedrooms.
Tone is set with your order, lighter or heavier. How the pigment holds up over years of strong sun is not something we have documented, so ask before you specify it for a sun-flooded room or an exterior.

Wearing this finish
Classic Natural
Light erosion opens the grain and deepens the character, with no paint and no stain. The wood looks lived with from the first day. Our most chosen finish.
None. No paint, no stain. The depth comes from opening the grain, not from pigment.
Villas and hotels that want warmth with restraint, high-touch pieces.
Erosion depth is set with your order, more or less. No two pieces come out identical, even in the same model and finish, so ask for bench photographs before you commit a whole project to it.

Wearing this finish
Brown
A warm brown coating for rooms that ask for depth. The grain stays visible under the colour, and the tone can be tuned lighter or darker with your order.
Yes. A coating over the teak. One of only two finishes in the range that use colour.
Classic interiors, libraries, rooms with darker floors.
This is the one finish in the range where a coating is the point. How it behaves outdoors under strong sun or salt air is not documented, so ask us before you specify Brown for an exterior, and ask about touch-ups before you order rather than after.
Reference: Finishing Guide 2026, page 05
We have the board. We do not yet have a piece.
No finished piece in Brown has been photographed to a standard we are willing to publish. We will not borrow someone else’s picture, and we will not put up a photograph whose finish we cannot verify.
A Brown piece goes into the next workshop shoot. In the meantime we will send a photograph straight from the finishing bench.
Recycled Antique Teak
Old reclaimed teak, denser, harder and more stable than new stock, with a richness new wood cannot copy. Our most premium material, limited by what the reclaim yards yield.
This is a different wood, not a surface treatment. The other four are finishes on one teak standard. This one arrives with its character already in it.
None. The colour is age. Knots, splits, nail marks and mineral lines are the point, not a fault.
Statement tables and doors, buyers who ask where the wood has been.
Supply is limited by what the reclaim yards yield, so a project needing matched volume across many pieces may not be servable. Denser, harder and more stable is our own assessment of the wood, not a laboratory figure.

Wearing this material
Two pieces photographed so far. Recycled antique teak is limited by what the reclaim yards yield, so what stands on the workshop floor changes month to month, and a catalogue of it would be out of date by the time you read it.
Tunable before production
Every finish is tunable before production: lighter or darker, more or less erosion, smoother or rougher. It is finalised with your order, not chosen from a menu.
You see it before it ships
Photos from the finishing bench travel with your order, so what arrives is never a surprise.
Living with teak
Keep furniture away from direct heat and constant harsh sun. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth, no aggressive cleaners. Outdoor pieces silver gracefully if left untreated, or hold their tone with a yearly oil.
Send us the piece and the room, and we will tell you which of the five we would put on it.

This is what separates a factory from a showroom. We do not sell you the nearest size. We build the table your room needs.
- Any length. A 2.6m table for ten. A 4m banquet table for a restaurant. We build to the centimetre.
- Any width and height. Sized for your chairs, your room, and your service style.
- Any base. A-frame, butterfly, cross, pedestal-style central support, live-edge slab on a bespoke base. Send a sketch or a reference photo.
- Any of five finishes, matched across tables, benches, and chairs for a full set.
- Matching seating. We build teak benches and dining chairs to pair with every table.
Why factory-direct matters
Because we run the workshop, a custom size is not an exception that costs extra months. It is the normal way we work. You deal with the people who cut the wood, not a reseller relaying your spec.
Indoor and outdoor teak dining tables
Teak is one of the few woods that genuinely works both inside and outside. We build for both, and the difference is in the specification, not a different product.
Indoor dining
Natural, Classic, Brown, or White Wash finish. Smooth, sealed, low-sheen surfaces for villa dining rooms, hotel restaurants, and private dining. Stable in air-conditioned and humid interiors alike, because the teak is kiln-dried.
Outdoor dining
Teak’s natural oils make it the benchmark hardwood for outdoor and marine use. Outdoor dining tables, including round garden tables, are built for terraces, poolside dining, and resort gardens. Let them weather to a silver-grey patina, or oil them annually to hold a warm tone.
Yes. Teak contains natural oils and silica that resist rot, insects, and weather, which is why it is the standard hardwood for boat decks and garden furniture. Solid Teak Furniture builds outdoor teak dining tables that can be left to weather to a silver-grey patina or oiled annually to keep a warm tone.

Ship and install
Local delivery in Indonesia and Bali. Export by LCL consolidation or full container. Installation support in Bali.
Inside Indonesia and Bali there is no strict minimum, a single table is fine. For export, we ship by LCL consolidation for smaller orders or by full container for larger fit-outs. There is no per-SKU minimum within a container, so you can mix tables, chairs, and other pieces freely.
Factory-direct from Java, not a showroom markup
When you buy a teak dining table from a Bali showroom or an importer, you pay for their rent, their staff, and their margin, on top of the table. Buying factory-direct removes all of it.

Teak dining table questions, answered
Direct answers, written for buyers comparing options.
1. Will a teak dining table crack or warp?
A properly built teak dining table should not crack or warp. The key is kiln-drying: Solid Teak Furniture dries its teak to under 10% moisture content before any board is cut, so the wood has already done its moving before it becomes a table. Cracking is almost always a sign of teak that was not dried, not a fault of teak itself.
2. How long does a teak dining table last?
Decades. Teak contains natural oils and silica that resist rot, insects, and moisture, which is why it is the standard wood for boat decks and outdoor furniture. A solid teak dining table, kept indoors or out, routinely outlasts the room it was bought for. Refinishing every few years keeps it looking new.
3. Can you build a custom size teak dining table?
Yes. Custom sizing is the normal way Solid Teak Furniture works, not a special order. We build any length, width, and height, from a 2.6m table for ten to a 4m restaurant banquet table, plus custom bases and live-edge slabs. Send your room dimensions and seat count for an exact recommendation.
4. Do you make outdoor teak dining tables?
Yes. Teak is the benchmark hardwood for outdoor use, and we build outdoor dining tables, including round garden tables, for terraces, poolside, and resort gardens. Outdoor tables can be left to weather to a silver-grey patina or oiled annually to hold a warm tone.
5. Can I order a single teak dining table, or is there a minimum?
Inside Indonesia and Bali there is no strict minimum, a single table is fine. For international orders, we ship by LCL consolidation for smaller quantities or by full container for larger fit-outs. There is no per-SKU minimum within a container, so a single order can mix tables, chairs, and other furniture.
6. Do you make matching chairs and benches?
Yes. Solid Teak Furniture builds teak dining chairs and benches that pair with every table, finished to match across the full set. A dining table and its seating can be quoted, built, and shipped together.
7. What finishes are available for teak dining tables?
Five hand-applied signature finishes: Natural, a light sandy-blonde low-sheen tone; Classic, a lightly eroded rustic surface; Brown, a warm brown coating; White Wash, a limed grain-lifted finish; and Recycled Antique, a rustic reclaimed-teak patina. Any finish can be matched across tables and chairs.
8. How long does production take, and how does the table ship?
Production time depends on size and finish and is confirmed in writing at quote stage. Every finished table is inspected, then crated and foam-wrapped for transit. Tables ship by local delivery in Indonesia and Bali, or by LCL consolidation or full container for export.
9. Where are your teak dining tables made?
All Solid Teak Furniture dining tables are made in the company’s own workshop in Solo, Central Java, Indonesia, the heart of the world’s teak-growing region. The company is Belgian-Indonesian, with showrooms in Belgium and Bali, and has manufactured teak furniture since 1997.
