How it works

You do two things.
We do the rest.

Almost everything that happens to your order happens without you. Follow the sequence below, from the first message to the container leaving Java, and the exact point where your part of it ends.

Send your brief · yours

A photograph is enough to start.

Tell us the product type, the quantities, and the country it is going to. If you have drawings, send them. If all you have is a photograph of something close to what you want, that works just as well. Most orders start that way.

Production opens on a 50 percent deposit, balance before the container loads. Timber is kiln-dried to 8 to 12 percent, cut, joined and finished in our own workshop. Photographs come to you from the bench as it goes, and every piece is checked before anything is wrapped.

Bespoke & Private Label

Custom Design and Private Label Capabilities

Roughly 40 percent of our production is custom. We manufacture to architect drawings, CAD files, reference photos, or buyer specifications, with prototyping before full production runs.

Private label: we produce under your brand. No logos, hang-tags, or packaging of ours unless specified.

Typical Custom Capabilities

  • Custom-length dining tables up to 5m+
  • Hotel in-room furniture packages to designer spec
  • Private-label production for furniture retailers
  • CAD-drawing-to-finished-piece manufacturing
  • Mixed-finish projects within a single container
  • Mortise-and-tenon joinery as standard
Logistics

Export Logistics and Shipping

All incoterms are possible. The right choice is decided case-by-case based on your destination, freight preference, and customs capability.

FOB Semarang / Surabaya

We deliver to the Indonesian port of departure. You handle ocean freight.

CIF & DDP Door-to-door

Packaging and Protection

Every piece is foam-wrapped and crated in plywood or softwood crates designed for ocean freight. Pre-shipment photos available. Third-party inspection (SGS, Intertek, or your rep) accepted before container seal. After 27+ years of export, the system works. Destination complaints are rare and handled case-by-case.

Materials & Quality

Quality Standards and Materials

Wood Sourcing

Our teak is legally sourced Indonesian teak from plantation and legally permitted concession origins. Every order ships with standard Indonesian export documentation.

Moisture Content

Kiln-dried to an 8 to 12 percent moisture content target in our in-house kilns, aligned with export-grade stability standards. Lower-priced teak furniture is typically shipped at 15 percent or higher moisture content, which is why it warps, cracks, or opens at joints when it reaches a drier indoor climate.

Finish Options

Five finishes, all applied in our own finishing centre. Each one can be tuned lighter or darker with your order, and photographs from the finishing bench travel with it. See all five on real boards and real pieces.

Joinery

Mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, and dowel joinery used where appropriate. Mechanical fasteners used where structural load or disassembly-for-shipping requirements dictate.

What We Don't Claim

We don't claim any certification we don't hold. If you require FSC, SVLK, FLEGT, or ISO documentation for your import market, ask at quote stage. We'll tell you clearly whether it's available for your specific order.

The Five Finishes

Here they are on real furniture.

Natural adds no colour, just a smooth sanded surface. Classic Natural carries more depth, with no paint and no stain. Brown is a warm coating. White Wash is pigment sanded back. Recycled Antique Teak is a different wood entirely. Every one is tuned before production, lighter or darker, to your order.

Browse the range, and ask about any of them directly.

Frequently Asked

12 Questions International Teak Buyers Ask Most

Direct answers. No marketing fluff.

1. Do you have a minimum order quantity?

Our minimum for international orders is a 20ft container. For smaller needs, we accommodate LCL (less than container load) consolidation, where your order ships alongside other buyers' goods in a shared container. Within any container, there is no per-SKU minimum: mix dining tables, outdoor lounges, bedroom pieces, and custom items freely. Single-item international retail shipping is not something we handle directly. For that scale, LCL or groupage is the path. Most Indonesian factories require a full 40HQ container. We're more flexible at the LCL end.

2. How much does shipping a container of teak furniture to my country cost?

Container shipping cost depends on destination port, shipping line, container size, and current freight market. As a rough anchor: a 20ft container from Semarang or Surabaya to European or North American ports typically runs USD 1,500 to 3,500 in ocean freight alone. A 40HQ typically runs USD 2,500 to 5,500. Door-to-door CIF pricing adds destination clearance and local delivery. We quote container freight alongside the furniture ex-factory cost so you see the full landed number.

3. What's the lead time from order to delivery?

Lead time is confirmed at quote stage. Production for standard-spec orders typically runs 30 to 60 days after deposit. Custom designs with prototyping add 2 to 4 weeks upfront. Container loading at our factory, then ocean transit adds roughly 4 to 5 weeks to Europe or Australia and 5 to 6 weeks to North America. Your quote will show an estimated production completion date, updated weekly during production.

4. Can I customize sizes, finishes, or design details?

Yes. Roughly 40 percent of our production is custom. We manufacture to architect drawings, CAD files, reference photos, or buyer specifications. Dimensions, joinery detail, wood thickness, and finish can all be specified. For first-time custom designs or larger production runs, we usually recommend a single prototype piece first to confirm the spec before committing to the full run.

5. Do you offer samples before a big order?

Yes. For new custom designs, a single piece can be produced as a prototype sample. Sample cost reflects small-batch economics: per-piece pricing on samples is higher than production-run pricing because setup costs are the same for 1 piece or 100. Sample production timeline is typically 2 to 5 weeks. Once the sample is approved, full production runs to the identical spec.

6. What are your payment terms?

Standard terms are 50 percent deposit on order confirmation, 50 percent balance before container loading (after pre-shipment QC, before release of shipping documents). Payments go to our Indonesian bank account in USD or EUR via TT wire transfer. Cryptocurrency not accepted. For repeat buyers with established history, alternative terms can be discussed. Specific terms confirmed in the pro-forma invoice before deposit.

7. Can I visit the factory?

Yes. We welcome buyer visits. Our factory is in Sukoharjo, about 40 minutes from Solo (Surakarta) airport in Central Java. A factory visit includes a workshop tour, meeting with production staff, review of in-production orders, and a discussion of your specific project. Arrange via WhatsApp at least two weeks in advance, +62 812-3399-5518.

8. What teak grade do you use?

We manufacture from solid teak wood sourced from Indonesian plantations and legally permitted concession origins. We don't use industry marketing terms like "Grade-A" or "Grade-1" because there's no internationally standardized grading body for Indonesian teak. Those terms mean whatever the seller wants them to mean. What we can tell you: our teak is kiln-dried to 8 to 12 percent moisture content, visually selected for the piece and finish specified, and documented with standard Indonesian export papers.

9. How do I know the furniture will arrive in good condition?

Three things: (1) pre-shipment quality control. Every piece is visually and dimensionally checked before crating, and we can send photos before loading. (2) Appropriate export packaging. Each piece is foam-wrapped and crated in plywood or softwood crates designed for ocean freight. (3) Optional third-party inspection. We accept SGS, Intertek, or buyer's representative inspection before container seal. After 27+ years of export, the system works. Complaints at destination are rare and handled case-by-case.

10. Why buy factory-direct instead of from a Bali showroom or reseller?

Price, customization, and control. Bali showrooms and overseas resellers buy from factories like ours and add their own markup, typically 50 to 150 percent retail margin. Buying direct eliminates that markup. You also get full customization (Bali showrooms sell what's in stock), direct communication with the production team, and quality control at source. The trade-off is you handle your own shipping coordination and you commit to a production timeline rather than buying in-stock pieces.

11. Are you a factory, or a wholesaler/trader?

We are the factory. All manufacturing happens at our Sukoharjo workshop (40 minutes from Solo, Central Java) by our in-house craftsmen. No sub-contracting to external Jepara workshops, no trader-intermediary layer. You can visit and watch your order being built. Many "Indonesian teak exporters" broker orders across multiple third-party workshops and consolidate for shipping. That model adds an opaque margin layer and removes your quality-control leverage. With us, one workshop, one team, one accountable party from inquiry to container loading.

12. Why are you based in Solo and not Jepara?

Most Indonesian teak furniture manufacturers operate from Jepara in North Central Java, where hundreds of workshops compete for the same timber supply and labor pool. We chose Solo (Surakarta) deliberately: different timber supply lines outside the Jepara pool, greater capacity stability during peak export seasons, and a dedicated craftsman team that does not rotate between workshops. Our entire supply chain, raw teak through finishing, stays within a 40-minute radius of our Sukoharjo workshop, giving you traceability that the Jepara broker-network model cannot match.
